狂傲的風…瘋狂之島

潛在於詩人的內涵與深度之中．．．
義大利人對咖啡的熱愛與專業舉世聞名，尤其在文藝復興時期，流連在咖啡館裡的義大利詩人們，就曾在這兒創作出許多不朽的文學名作，進而增添了咖啡不同於一般飲品特殊的人文特質。
『丹堤』的名字由來，源自於義大利人對於『咖啡』一種莫名而無可救藥的浪漫與詩意，於是我們選擇以著作"神曲"一書流傳於世的義大利名詩人──但丁(DANTE)英文名字為店名，希望賦予『丹堤』潛在詩人的內涵與深度，並表達我們對專業咖啡的執著與熱愛。

原來，Dante咖啡的名字取自寫下神曲，描寫天堂地獄的但丁。

但丁，詩人，科學家，哲學家，神學家，語言學家，義大利文之父。

貝德麗采，小但丁一歲，但丁九歲時就仰慕的女子，是其創作的泉源。但丁為她為文如下。

And betaking me to the loneliness of mine own room, I fell to thinking of this most courteous lady, thinking of whom I was overtaken by a pleasant slumber, wherein a marvelous vision was presented to me: for there appeared to be in my room a mist of the colour of fire, within the which I discerned the figure of a Lord of terrible aspect to such as should gaze upon him, but who seemed there-withal to rejoice inwardly that it was a marvel to see. Speaking he said many things, among the which I could understand but few; and of these, this: "I am thy Lord". In his arms it seemed to me that a person was sleeping, covered only with a crimson cloth; upon whom looking very attentively, I knew that it was the Lady of the Salutation, who had deigned the day before to salute me.
